Conservatory Lab Charter School students get

Symphony Orchestra violinist Colin Davis and his recent visit to CLCS
were the topics of a March 5th article in the Allston-Brighton TAB
newspaper. Mr. Davis is in his fourth year as artist-in-residence
at CLCS, through the BSO's Musicians in the Schools
Program.

University research has found for the first time that musical training
improves how the brain processes the spoken word, a finding that
researchers say could lead to improving the reading ability of children

have shown that mastering a musical instrument improves the way the
