El Sistema is a unique program designed to effect social change and nurture promising futures for underserved communities through intensive, ensemble-focused music education. El Sistema was founded in 1975 by José Antonio Abreu in Venezuela.

Expeditionary Learning

Expeditionary Learning offers a framework to the work at Conservatory Lab. It is based on the belief that the purpose of education is to unleash and cultivate the passion and genius of everyone and that schools ought to be organized expressly for this purpose.
