K1 Creates their Own Versions of Classic Books

IMG_1446
This week, the K1 classes worked diligently to create class books inspired by Eric Carle’s Brown Bear, Brown Bear  Who Do You See? Students wrote text, painted textured backgrounds, photographed one another, and drafted and revised self-portraits and portraits of one another to create our K1, K1 Who Do You See? books. Creating these books is a part of our first learning expedition, Getting To Know You (through an Eric Carle author study). Last Friday, the two classes presented their books to each other.  Students then gave each other compliments about the books and how they were presented. Please stop by the K1 classrooms to view our K1, K1 Who Do You See? books!
