Students at Conservatory Lab learn music every day in a supportive and safe environment. A third of our students are siblings and our size enables us to create a family feel.
Admission to Conservatory Lab is through a public lottery that opens every year on October 1 and closes at the beginning of March.
There’s no application fee and no tuition. There isn’t even a cost for your child to have their own musical instrument for the school year.
Contact Harrison Gonzalez-Garcia at hgonzalezgarcia@conservatorylab.org with your questions or to arrange a tour.

K2: born between 9/2/2019 and 9/1/2020
You will have the opportunity to choose up to 3 schools. Make sure to select Conservatory Lab Charter School as one of your options (the order in which you choose has no relevance)
Families should get in touch by phone (617) 254 -8904 Ext. 525 or email admissions@conservatorylab.org
The Admission Lottery will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Although applicants are welcome to attend the lottery, attendance is not a requirement for admission. If you do not wish to have your child’s name read or released in public lottery results, please email an “Opt-out” request to admissions@conservatorylab.org or mail it to “Admissions” at Conservatory Lab Charter School, 395 Columbia Rd, Boston, MA 02125
Each applicant is assigned a “lottery number” which is then entered into the system for the computerized lottery. A disinterested party initiates the computerized lottery and results are projected on the screen for each grade level and then posted. Notifications for lottery results will be posted on our website with your child’s application number and the lottery number received.
