Conservatory Lab’s Ives Ensemble will be holding a Concerto Competition for string players in Grades 5 through 8. The winner will receive a personalized gift and have the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Ives Ensemble at Spring Fling! on April 11! To audition, students will need to prepare 2 scales from memory and a piece of their choosing, as well as sightread a short musical excerpt.
This is a unique opportunity and we encourage all interested and eligible students to apply! Auditions will begin on Wednesday, February 4th and the winner will be announced on Monday, February 16th.
