The K1 classes are working together to organize a food drive. They made posters and decorated boxes to share our food drive information with others. There is a donation box for non-perishable foods in each classroom in Brighton. The food drive will run until November 23rd. The K1 classes will bring the donations to the local food pantry on Washington st. on November 24th. Examples of foods to bring are pasta, peanut butter, rice, canned beans, tuna, and cereal. ALSO, the 6A crew is organizing a food drive at the Dorchester building as well as part of their kindness in November theme. All next week, students can bring food donations similar to the ones listed above to their classroom. Students in 6A will collect donations every day and on Friday, November 20th they will announce how much food has been collected and which classroom donated the most.
