Amber is thrilled to be entering her fourth year at Conservatory Lab teaching 5th Grade Humanities and has loved watching her students grow over the years. Before CLCS, she graduated from the School of Education at Boston University, but she has wanted to be a teacher ever since she can remember! When she is not teaching 5th grade, she loves hiking mountains, writing poems, embroidering, and traveling. As a long-time dancer and saxophone player, the arts played a huge role in Amber’s schooling. She is so excited to encourage creativity and activism inside and outside her classroom. Through the study of humanities, her hope is that her students will feel empowered to think critically, question, advocate, and act in the name of making their community and their world a place where all can thrive.
