Caroline Thomas first started at CLCS as a student teacher in Ms. Carrico’s second-grade class during the 2018-2019 school year, while Thomas completed her Master of Education Degree. Thomas starts her first year as a full-time third-grade teacher, and couldn’t be more excited. Thomas grew up on the South Shore of MA, went to Fairfield University in CT for an undergraduate degree, and spent some time living abroad in Galway, Ireland during college.
After graduating from Fairfield, Thomas moved back to Boston to pursue a career in elementary education. Thomas holds an Initial License in Elementary Education, an English Language Learners license, a Moderate Disabilities license, and a Sheltered English Immersion endorsement.
“I hope to create a classroom environment that is fun, welcoming, and rigorous for all of my students. When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with family and friends, go for walks around Castle Island, read, and horseback ride!”
