Emily grew up in Massachusetts in the town of Byfield. Her love for education began in high school when she had the chance to work in a kindergarten classroom for two years. She pursued her education degree at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Upon graduating, she moved back to Boston and committed to a teaching position at the British International School of at the elementary level in Jamaica Plain, MA, while also attending graduate school at Wheelock College. In 2016, Emily received her Master of Science in Special Education. She is extremely excited for her first year at the Conservatory Lab Charter as a third grade teacher. When Emily is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching cheerleading and traveling.
