Kathy Malone is a graduate of Brandeis University’s Elementary Education Master’s program. Having grown up in Baltimore and lived most of her adult life in Boston, she loves big city living. Following her undergraduate years at the University of Rochester, she spent three years teaching ESL to middle schoolers, high schoolers and Sudanese students in Cairo, Egypt. A career-changer, Ms. Malone brings her experience working in technology companies and nonprofit organizations to teaching. Ms. Malone taught first grade for Boston Public Schools before joining Conservatory Lab Charter School. This is her second year in first grade here and she is so excited to work with the musicians and scholars in her classroom, and with their families. When not in school, Ms. Malone enjoys camping with her family, biking, jogging, and cooking.
