Sandra Manzella is originally from Long Island, NY, and moved with her family to Syracuse NY during her high school years. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree, with a Certification in Art Education (K- 12), at West Virginia University. After graduating, Sandy spent time as a substitute teacher for the Syracuse City School District, and in 2005 she moved to Boston to pursue a Master’s Degree in Special Education. While completing her degree at Cambridge College, Sandra developed her teaching skills as a paraprofessional for the LABBB Collaborative. Once she completed her Master’s Degree and became licensed in Special Education with Moderate Disabilities, Sandra worked as a classroom teacher with the LABBB Collaborative. Although she loved working with the students at the Collaborative, Sandra decided to expand her experience and worked as a Special Education teacher and liaison in the Belmont Public School District. Sandra is a dedicated teacher who is looking forward to working directly with the students and their families, in addition to the staff and administration at the Conservatory Lab Charter School.
