Zach Kent was born in Worcester, MA and raised in central Massachusetts. After graduating from Vassar College with degrees in Geography and Hispanic Studies, Zach moved west to help manage sustainability and transportation equity projects in Denver, Colorado. He then spent 18 months teaching English in Chile before returning to Boston to pursue his Masters in Teaching History at Tufts. Zach has spent the last two years teaching Literacy at City on a Hill in Roxbury and Social Studies at Malden High School. He is thrilled to now be joining the Conservatory Lab Community. In his free time, Zach enjoys hiking, playing music, writing, and dancing. He is eager to continue learning alongside his students and help connect their learning to our collective work in the world.
