The Book Fair’s Back in Town

The first floor halls at the Upper School have filled all this week with sounds of our students excited about books. The book fair was back in town at Conservatory Lab, which means students have been busy picking books out, reading them with their friends, arguing over which books might be better than others, and carefully counting out the money they brought from home.

We are proud to have hosted such a successful book fair! Many thanks to Conservatory Lab parent Myriah Johnson, who worked at the book fair every day this week to make sure things ran smoothly.

In addition, Myriah instituted a “reading book first” policy, in which students were asked to purchase a book to read before they bought any erasers, posters, or pens. Thanks for promoting reading outside of the classroom, Myriah!
