Welcome, Senator Brownsberger!

Senator Visit 1 As part of his effort to get to know his new district, Senator William Brownsberger visited the school on Thursday.  He met with ten parents who also live in his district to hear first-hand about how the school has impacted their children and their families.  Head of School, Diana Lam, then took him on a tour of the school, stopping by orchestra rehearsals, LTME lessons of small groups of students composing and rehearsing their Blues songs and a writing celebration in 6th grade.

Allston/Brighton (as well as Watertown and Belmont), was hugely impressed with both

the work of the students and the commitment and feelings of the families.  “We are all a family here”, said Samuel Simon, father of Elijah.  The Senator assured all the parents that he was moved by their words and vowed to help the school in any way he can.
