As part of their ongoing What’s On Your Plate? Health/Social Studies unit, the K-2 students had a Fruit Party on Thursday where they tested out a variety of tastes – sweet, sour, bitter, smooth,etc. Special guest Cookie Monster (Mr. Kershner) even made an appearance to talk to the students about the importance of a balanced diet that will keep their bodies healthy and strong!
